Members

The members are organisations, companies, co-operatives that breed, propagate, incubate and process poultry, manage the retail and wholesale distribution as well as the import and the export of slaughtered and processed poultry.

The product board operates as an open organisation, where membership is based on registration. Membership is over if the organisation ceases to operate, the member leaves the corporation or its authorisation is revoked, or it is excluded from the corporation. The registration is managed by the secretariat.

Professional associations

Due to the complexity of the poultry industry and the diversity of the products, the need arouse to create distinct professional boards that operate as independent organisations while the majority of their members are also direct members of the product board. The main task of the boards is to harmonise the specific activities of those who are concerned in separate product groups within the poultry industry. These boards are:

  • Hungarian Broiler Association
  • Hungarian Turkey Association
  • Hungarian Goose Association
  • Hungarian Duck Association
  • Hungarian Free-range Poultry-producers Association
  • Hungarian Breeders for Laying Hybrids and Egg-producers Association
